About Linda

 

Linda qualified as a teacher of English and Speech over 40 years ago.

The qualifications she holds:

• 2020 Masterclass in English as a Foreign Language

• 2019 Distinction in Speech and Language Therapy 

• ALCM Diploma in Speech

• Cert Ed in English Language and Linguistics

She is also a full member of The Society of Teachers of Speech and Drama​.

 

After retiring from classroom teaching, Linda has spent the last 10 years concentrating on home tutoring students in Elocution, English as a Second Language and Accent Reduction.

Students have ranged from children aged 4 to adults aged 70. She has taught people from all around the world including Russia, China, Pakistan, Africa, South America, mainland Europe and of course, Britain. Her students have come from all sorts of backgrounds and have included housewives, doctors, company directors, TV and film stars, footballers, child members of Mensa as well as children lacking confidence.
